Another Good Birding Day In Borrego Springs-However Hot-80's today-February 12, 2014

Once again our group found the Inca Dove. Here's a photo from a few days ago. The dove was quite vocal today. Other highlights included a Greater White-fronted Goose, Black-tailed Gnatcatcher, two hummingbird nests and two Wilson's Snipe. All in all a great day. On the way to The Springs, I had this nice Egret in a field near my home.

Inca Dove Revisited-February 8, 2014

Got good looks at the Inca Dove. However the fellow that called it in with a tape continued to play it as the bird sat around 10 yards from us. I finally got him to stop the tape. Also had some nice views of the Townsend's Solitaire again.
